Kishore Deshpande brings a strong technical background to his position as president and chief executive officer of Universal Software Corporation, an information technology firm in Nashua, N.H. providing software development, system integration and end-user training services to corporate clients in the United States and government agencies throughout Asia and the Pacific.

In this role, Mr. Deshpande oversees day-to-day operations and directs business development. In addition to reviewing proposals, as chief strategist he formulates and implements policies and procedures for hiring and employee development and indirectly manages a workforce of more 250 U.S. employees and 80 personnel in India. For his efforts, Universal was named by “Inc.” magazine as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in 2000 and 2001.
